| We are looking for personable staff with a true desire to care for the dogs left in our care. Please realize that caring for a couple of your own dogs is much easier than caring for 20 dogs. You must have lots of patience, be able to multitask, and be able to follow detailed instructions. You must also be physically able to restrain large dogs when pulling, lift 40 lbs, and be able to clean while on your hands and knees. In addition to cleaning runs, taking dogs to play yards, picking up after the dogs, feeding, washing dishes, etc, there might be some administrative duties such as answering phones, making reservations, checking dogs in and out, filing, etc. Employees that show initiative and have a good disposition will have opportunities to advance and/or earn benefits. Our policy is every new employee is on a trial basis for their first 14 days. During these first two weeks the salary will be $7.00 an hour. If the new employee is asked to stay after two weeks, the hourly salary agreed upon will begin. We work seven days a week, 365 days a year, from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Due to the nature of our business we need the most help on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays. Morning Shift is from 6:00 a.m. to 10 a.m. with Sundays and Mondays off and Afternoon Shift is from 2:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m with Tuesdays and Wednesdays off.: |
